Tesseraux Spezialverpackung GmbH is a company of RINGMETALL SE and, consequently, the privacy policy of RINGMETALL SE applies.

This page provides information on the types of personal data processed by Ringmetall SE, Innere Wiener Str. 9, 81667 Munich (“Ringmetall”) when you use this website and its services, as well as on the purposes for which this data is used.
The terms used are based on formulations that were used by the European legislator for adopting the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

1. Who processes personal data (category of data subjects)?

Data subjects are all visitors and users of Ringmetall’s website (hereinafter also collectively referred to as “users”).

2. What data is processed when visiting the Ringmetall website?

3. What are cookies and how are they used?

Ringmetall uses cookies to improve the appearance of the website and its navigation. A cookie is a text file that is sent from the web server to the browser. This file contains the URL that was visited, the date of the visit and an expiry date that determines the period of activity of the cookie. Cookies are used by Ringmetall on the one hand to determine the areas of the Ringmetall websites that are visited most frequently and on the other hand to enable the user to save his personal settings so that these settings are available again the next time the page is called up. Aggregated statistics on website visits are compiled to determine the most frequently visited areas of the Ringmetall websites.

4. Integration of third-party services

Ringmetall uses content or services offered by third-party providers within this website on the basis of Ringmetall’s legitimate interests (i.e. Ringmetall’s interest in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of the online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) in order to integrate their content and services, such as videos or fonts.

Google Web Fonts

This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.
For this purpose, the browser you use must connect to Google’s servers. This informs Google that our website has been accessed via your IP address. Google Web Fonts are used to ensure the uniform and visually appealing presentation of our online offers.

Ringmetall embeds the maps of the “Google Maps” service of the provider Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The use of Google Maps serves the purpose of an adequate presentation of the online offer and of facilitating the location of the places indicated by Ringmetall on the website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO.

6. Online presence in social media

Ringmetall maintains online presence within social networks and platforms in order to be able to communicate with its customers, stakeholders and other users and to inform them about Ringmetall’s services. When calling up the respective networks and platforms, the terms and conditions and data processing policies of their respective operators apply.
Unless otherwise stated in this privacy policy, Ringmetall processes the data of users if they communicate with Ringmetall within the social networks and platforms, e.g. write posts on online presences of Ringmetall or send messages to Ringmetall.

7. Communication via e-mail/the contact form

Ringmetall provides the possibility of contacting Ringmetall via e-mail as well as to send messages which, at the user’s option, may contain additional personal data (e.g. first and last name, title, address, telephone number, e-mail text, context of the request) beyond the disclosure of the sender’s e-mail address. The user alone decides on the type and scope of the information disclosed beyond the E-mail address.
The data will not be used for other purposes or passed on to third parties without your express consent. Our subsidiaries are exempt from this, insofar as this is necessary to fulfil your request. Provided that there are no legal obligations to retain data, your personal data will be deleted after the request has been processed.
The legal basis for processing data is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Ringmetall has a legitimate interest to process your data in order to be able to respond to your communication.

8. Transmission and disclosure of personal data to third parties

Ringmetall transfers personal data to its subsidiaries for the above-mentioned purposes. A transfer is made in particular if e-mail enquiries from the user (cf. section 6 above) fall within the business areas/offers of the subsidiaries concerned.
The legal basis for the aforementioned transfer of personal data is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Within the framework of rendering the website, Ringmetall cooperates with technical service providers (so-called processors), such as service providers for EDP/IT applications and web management, who receive access to personal data in order to provide these services. These service providers have been carefully selected, will only act on Ringmetall’s instructions, are contractually obliged to comply with the applicable data protection requirements and are not based in third countries. The legal basis for the aforementioned transfer of personal data is also Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Moreover, we would like to draw your attention to the transmission of information in the course of the use of cookies, which is described in detail in sections 3-5.
Except as explained in this Privacy Policy, Ringmetall will only disclose your personal data to third parties without your express consent if Ringmetall is required to do so by law or by a governmental or judicial order.

9. Deletion periods

Access data (cf. section 2) will be deleted when it is no longer required for the purposes described in this privacy policy, unless longer storage is required by law. Access data is regularly stored for a period of 30 days.
Any personal data collected by Ringmetall via e-mail/the contact form (cf. section 7) will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to fulfil the purpose of the processing, i.e. regularly when the enquiry has been conclusively processed.

10. User rights

The user has the following rights or claims. Your claim will be processed immediately and will not lead to any disadvantages for the user.

The user also has the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority if they believe that the processing of their personal data by Ringmetall is in breach of the GDPR. In addition to the data protection authority responsible for Ringmetall (see section 11 below), this shall also fall under the responsibility of the supervisory authorities of the user’s usual place of residence, the user’s place of work and the place of the alleged infringement. 12. SSL and/or TLS encryption

For security reasons and in order to protect the transfer of confidential content, such as e.g. enquiries which you send to Ringmetall as the website operator, this website uses SSL and/or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the address line in the browser changing from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in the browser line.
If the SSL and/or TLS encryption is enabled, the data you transfer to Ringmetall cannot be accessed by third parties.
